JANUARY 2025 | GRANTS

  • Regional economic development & community Investment Program

    The $50 million program is funded under the Regional Development Trust and will support initiatives that promote regional economic development and contribute to job creation and retention aligned with the Trust’s key focus areas:

    Aboriginal economic development and enterprise

    Community connection and capacity building

    Improving regional service delivery

    Sustainable regional industries.

  • Community Building Partnership 2025

    This program awards grants for community infrastructure projects that deliver positive social, environmental and recreational outcomes while also promoting community participation, inclusion and cohesion.

    Grant Amount: from 10,000 to $100,000

  • artsACT

    This program aims to provide support for Canberra artists, groups and organisations to undertake arts activities including creating new work, professional or skills development, mentoring, residencies, and community arts and cultural development and engagement.

    Available biannually. The 2024-25 funding round dates are:

    Round 1: Opened 1 December and closes 28 February 2025, 5pm AEDT

    Round 2: Opens 1 June and closes 31 July 2025

    Applicants can submit one application for one activity only and can only receive funding in this category once each calendar year. 

  • Eurobodalla SHire Council- NAIDOC week

    This program aims to assist in the delivery of activities celebrating NAIDOC in Eurobodalla. 

    NAIDOC Week 2025 runs from 7-14 July.

    Grants of up to $1,000 are available.

  • Eurobodalla Shire Council - Mayoral Representatives Grants

    Eurobodalla Shire Council - Mayoral Representatives Grants

    This program aims to provide financial assistance to individuals or teams, that have been selected to represent Eurobodalla at a state, national or international level.

    Grants available are up to:

    $400 for individuals.

    $750 for teams.

  • QUEANBEYAN-PALERANG REIGIONAL COUNCIL - CULTURAL GRANTS

    This program aims to assist local arts, artists, musicians, performers, writers and arts/cultural organisations to start and to develop their own projects, and to improve the Queanbeyan-Palerang community's opportunities for involvement in cultural and arts activities.

  • Bega Valley Shire Council- Waste Program

    This program aims to encourage and assist community involvement in the management of waste minimisation and education for the benefit of the whole region.

    The program will be offered over a six-year period in conjunction with Bournda Environmental Education Centre.

    Grants of up to $500 are available.

    A total funding pool of $10,000 is available ($2,000 per school).

    Applicants are expected to contribute to the project through in-kind use of labour or materials. 

  • goulburn-mulwaree council - event development funding

    This program aims to support the development of vibrant, creative and innovative events that enhance the economic, social and cultural life in the Goulburn-Mulwaree region.

    There are two funding streams available:

    1. Sports Tourism Event funding

    2. Tourism Event Development funding

    Applications must be received a minimum of three months prior to the commencement of the event. Applications will be considered outside these timelines on a case-by-case basis.

    Applicants must contact the program administrator prior to submitting an application.

  • Goulburn-mulwaree council - mayor discretionary fund

    This program aims to assist with small projects and community initiatives.

    There are no specified minimum and maximum funding limits.

    The Mayor will have discretion to make donations up within the annual allocated budget. Funding request should be made in writing.
