  • Regional Funding Grants 2025-2026 - NOW OPEN!

    The Regional Events Fund supports events that drive overnight visitation and boost local economies in regional NSW. Since its inception, the program has provided over $14 million to more than 530 events.

    Events must take place between 1 July 2025 and 30 June 2026 and be located within one of the seven Destination Networks.

  • 4 Dec 25 - Strengthening rural communities

    The Strengthening Rural Communities (SRC) Small & Vital stream gives small remote, rural and regional communities across Australia the opportunity to access funds for a broad range of initiatives that directly and clearly benefit local communities.

  • 17 Dec 25 NSW Take Off Fund

    The fund aims to attract new routes and increase seat capacity, driving visitor economy growth and encouraging regional dispersal.

  • 31 Dec 25 Energy Innovation Fund

    This program aims to support the advancement of the ACT's energy transition policy by funding the testing of new ideas that respond to the policy challenge. It forms part of the ACT Government's industry-funded Energy Innovation Fund (the Fund, previously known as the 'Renewable Energy Innovation Fund' or the 'REIF') which is driving the long-term development of the ACT’s industries and jobs that support the energy transition.

    Now in its 33rd year, The Australian Agribusiness Leadership Program (AALP), an Australian Rural Leadership Foundation (ARLF) initiative, is continuing to help grow the next generation of Australian Agricultural leaders.

  • 18 Jan 26 Aquaculture Industry Development Program

    The NSW Government has established the Aquaculture Industry Development Program (the program). The program aims to:

    support the NSW Aquaculture Vision Statement to increase farmgate production in the aquaculture sector by 2030 and drive productivity in commercial fishing

    support regional businesses to modernise to increase productivity, exports, resilience to climate change impacts, contribution to net zero and/or circular economy targets

    build regional capability in sustainable seafood and marine bioproducts.

  • 22 Jan 26 South-east Marine Parks Network Fishing Business

    This program aims to assist eligible persons adjust their businesses to a new operating environment created by the implementation of the South-east Marine Parks Network Management Plan.

  • 23 Jan 26 Agriculture Industries

    The NSW Government has established the Agriculture Industries Innovation and Growth Program, with funding of up to $25 million available to support the NSW agriculture sector.

  • 15 FEB 26 Snowy Mountains Aboriginal Development

    The Snowy Mountains Aboriginal Product Development Program aims to establish and build the capability and capacity of Aboriginal businesses within the Snowy Mountains Special Activation Precinct.

  • Infoxchange Telstra Top Up Program

    This program aims to help those experiencing vulnerability stay connected to the people and services.

  • 12 March 26 Telstra connected communities grant

    Grants up to $10,000 are available for not-for-profit community organisations that are providing access to information, technology, education and facilities to support their communities to embrace new technologies and ways of working to build social capital and digital capability.

  • 1 June 26 Queanbeyan-Palerang Cultural Grants

    The Cultural Grants Program aims to assist local arts, artists, musicians, performers, writers and arts/cultural groups to start and develop their own projects, and to improve the community’s opportunities for involvement in cultural and arts activities. Applications are open throughout the year, or until funds have been exhausted.

    These grants help implement ideas addressing issues of concern to young people identified at the annual Heywire Summit.

    This program aims to increase the conversion of new international business events for Australia through the offer of financial support at the critical bidding stage. It is designed to deliver conversion of business in situations where Australia is bidding against international competitors for the right to host the business event.

  • 30 June 26 Screen NSW

    This program aims to offer long-form footloose productions scouting assistance for location surveys for eligible projects.

  • 30 June 26 Tourism Australia - Business Events Bid

    This program aims to increase the conversion of new international business events for Australia through the offer of financial support at the critical bidding stage.     Minimum funding requests of $50,000 are available.

  • 25/26 Coastal and estuary grants

    Grant funding enables local councils and communities to prepare coastal management programs and implement actions identified in those programs. Grant offers are subject to statewide priorities and the availability of funds each financial year.

  •  Bega Grants

    Bega Valley Shire Council- Waste Program

    This program aims to encourage and assist community involvement in the management of waste minimisation and education for the benefit of the whole region.

    The program will be offered over a six-year period in conjunction with Bournda Environmental Education Centre.

    Grants of up to $500 are available.

    A total funding pool of $10,000 is available ($2,000 per school).

    Applicants are expected to contribute to the project through in-kind use of labour or materials. 

  • Goulburn-Mulwaree Grants.

    goulburn-mulwaree council - event development funding

    This program aims to support the development of vibrant, creative and innovative events that enhance the economic, social and cultural life in the Goulburn-Mulwaree region.

    There are two funding streams available:

    1. Sports Tourism Event funding

    2. Tourism Event Development funding

    Applications must be received a minimum of three months prior to the commencement of the event. Applications will be considered outside these timelines on a case-by-case basis.

    Applicants must contact the program administrator prior to submitting an application.

    Goulburn-mulwaree council - mayor discretionary fund

    This program aims to assist with small projects and community initiatives.

    There are no specified minimum and maximum funding limits.

    The Mayor will have discretion to make donations up within the annual allocated budget. Funding request should be made in writing.

    CLEAN UP GRANT - Assessed Monthly

    Clean Up Grant (maximum of $575)

    Clean Up grants aim to support organisations that are actively:

    cleaning up public areas

    assisting community members with complex needs, including hoarding behaviours

    This grant provides up to $575 (in waste vouchers) to cover council waste facility fees associated with:

    the disposal of general waste

    the disposal of green waste

    the disposal of other waste items

    purchasing compost or mulch

  • ONgoing - ACT Major event fund

    This program aims to deliver a mechanism for investing in, supporting and leveraging major events in Canberra. It has been established to support major event opportunities that can:

    Drive substantial economic impact for Canberra through event-based tourist visitation and visitor spend, and by filling identified gaps in Canberra's annual events calendar.

    Provide opportunities for marketing and promotion of the Canberra region to key domestic and (when applicable) international audiences.

    Grants between $50,000 and $500,000 are available.

    Applications must be submitted six months prior to the commencement of the event.

  • ONGOING - Solar for Apartments Program (ACT)

    This program aims to encourage the uptake of rooftop solar installations in apartment complexes. These shared solar installations are expected to be sustainable solutions at the local and community level that will:

    Help residents of apartment complexes enjoy reduced energy costs.

    Help apartment complexes transition off gas.

    Support development of the renewable energy and sustainable services industry in the ACT.

  • ONGOING - ACT Business Advice and Support Services

    This program aims to provide a business advisory service for ACT businesses from all industry sectors, delivering a comprehensive range of business advice and support services.

  • CWA NSW/ACT Drought relief

    CWA of NSW has a strong track record in drought relief. We’ve supported thousands of families through previous droughts and we’re doing it again now. Thanks to our generous donors, we’ve released up to $250,000 to support those hardest hit this winter.

  • ONGOING VENTURE CAPITAL LIMITED PARTNERSHIPS

    This program aims to stimulate Australia's venture capital sector by attracting foreign investors.

  • ONGOING CAPITAL GRANTS PRG

    This program aims to assist non-government primary and secondary school communities to improve capital infrastructure where they otherwise may not have access to sufficient capital resources.

  • ONGOING - Queanbeyan-palerang No fee hire

    This program aims to encourage the increased use and availability of Council-owned community spaces by offering no-fee hire of certain spaces to regular community, not-for-profit, or charitable organisations that are unable to afford the hire costs.

    The grant will be non-monetary and provides community usage of some spaces with special conditions.

  • ONGOING - Future Drought Fund

    This program aims to support farmers and communities to get ready for drought. It forms part of the Australian Government's $5 billion Future Drought Fund which seeks to help Australian farms and communities prepare for the impacts of drought.

  • ONGOING - Farm Household Allowance

    This program aims to provide targeted assistance that gives farmers and their partners practical support to assess their situation and plan a way forward to long term financial security. It is an Australian Government support package available to eligible farmers and their partner experiencing financial hardship when the income fluctuates to a low level.

  • 30 June 28 - Transport NSW Boating Infrastructure

    The scheme re-invests boating licence, registration and other fees into improving infrastructure making NSW waterways more accessible for all boaters.

  • ONGOING - Regional Road Block Grant

    The NSW State Government has a number of funding methods to assist Local Councils in management of their Regional Road infrastructure. Transport for NSW (TfNSW) administers this funding through a number of programs including the Regional Road Block Grant.

  • ONGOING - NSW Aboriginal Land Council

    This program aims to support an organisation's individual program/event or of an ongoing activity to enable NSWALC to market to and better engage with its local communities, and wider stakeholders. It provides a vehicle by which the NSWALC can promote its core business and further develop its brand.

  • ONGOING - Stay Afloat Australia

    This program aims to support events that encourage seafood communities nationwide to come together in a supportive setting to raise awareness of mental health and the benefits of overall wellbeing. It forms part of the Stay Afloat program which supports and improves the mental health of those in the seafood industry.

  • ONGOING - NSW Metering & Monitoring Planning Offer

    This program aims to support NSW businesses to establish comprehensive metering and monitoring plans to enable energy productivity improvements. The plans will identify submetering gaps and provide a costed proposal to implement recommendations for improving metering and monitoring systems.
