This exciting initiative invites residents to share what they love most about their hometowns, fostering community spirit and showcasing the rich diversity and appeal of Southern NSW & ACT.

Participation Categories

• Junior Category: Photographers under 18 years old.

• Open Category: Photographers 18 years and older.

Entries for the 2025 Regional Photo Competition Prize close midnight Monday 7 April 2025. To be eligible, you must live in the following regions: Wingecarribee, Queanbeyan-Palerang, Yass Valley, Hilltops, Goulburn-Mulwaree, Bega Valley, Eurobodalla, Snowy Monaro, Canberra and Upper Lachlan.

Thank you to everyone who entered our Hometown Pride Photo Competition! We’ve loved seeing the incredible photos showcasing the people, places and moments that make our region so special.

Entries are now closed — and our judging panel has the very difficult job of selecting the winners from such a fantastic range of submissions.

Winners will be announced on 1 May 2025 (anticipated date) — so watch this space and follow us on social media to be the first to see the winning shots!
